A unique identifier is given to each image in our collection.

Guidelines for Creation of Content
Note: Please enter the data for the date element first! You will need this information to create the identifier.
The identifier for each image is composed of two parts.
1) The first part of the identifier is the date the image was taken. Please remove any dashes and/or other punctuation from the date.
a) The date for the 1975 Missouri game (1975-09-08) would be entered as 19750908.
b) The date for the 2009 Texas game (2010-01-07) would be entered as 20100107.
2) The second part of the identifier is a portion of the original image file name. It is the part of the original image file name that is not related to either the date of the game or the opponent that the University of Alabama was playing.
a) The part of the original image file name that would be pulled from the image with file name
75_Missouri_021 would be 021.
b) The part of the original image file name that would be pulled from the image with file name
MFB_Texas09_CJ02674 would be CJ02674.
These two parts will be combined (no spaces) to create the identifier. Complete examples are shown below.
Examples
The identifier for file 75_Missouri_021 would be: 19750908021
The identifier for file 75_Clemson_122 would be: 19750920122
The identifier for file MFB_Texas09_CJ02674 would be: 20100107CJ02674
The identifier for file MFB_Texas09_KG01552 would be: 20100107KG01552
