Guidelines for Creation of Content

Format requires use of [MIME] Media Type Parameters for controlled vocabulary.

To obtain Format Data:

  1. Save item to computer
  2. Right click on item thumbnail
  3. Select "Properties"
  4. Select "Details"

To input data into Omeka S:

  1. Input "Format Type" and the corresponding information
  2. Select Text and input "File Size" (use KB) and the corresponding information
  3. Select Text and input "Dimensions" and the corresponding information
  4. Select Text and input "Width and Height" and the corresponding information
  5. Select Text and input "Resolution" and the corresponding information
  6. Select Text and input "Bit Depth" and the corresponding information

Examples

  • Format Type: JPEG
  • File Size: 15.6 KB
  • Dimensions: 200 x 200
  • Width and Height: 200 x 200 pixels
  • Resolution: 300 dpi
  • Bit Depth: 8
